| Arignar Anna College, a Tamilnadu government aided private Arts and science college is located in the Aralvaymoli Town, bordering kanyakumari and Tirunelveli Districts, on the national highway opposite to the Aralvaymoli bustand in a sprawling campus of about 27acres.The serene atmosphere and salubrious climate adds to the enthusiasm of students in their learning process
Conceived and founded by Prof.M.Sankaralingam, M.A., Ex.M.L.C., Ex.M.P., and his friends and colleagues to cater to the educational needs of poor rural students especially girl students, the college started its innings in the year 1970 and currectly running its successful 50th year of journey.
Orginally affliated to Madurai Kamarajar University, Madurai, the college is now affliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli from the year 1990. The college is recognized under the University grants Commission rule 2F/12B.
